Same same! I write out every day (that I write). There used to be a coffee shop I went to in town, but then McDonalds actually started to feel better (the cafe went downhill, not that McDonalds is super awesome, but I do like it there). When I'm out of town I go to Panera.
I love the smell of coffee (brewing, candles, etc), but not the taste (unless it's ice cream with hot fudge *g*). I'm a tea (iced or hot) drinker, also. But nothing sweet.
I find the hum of sound rather soothing and I sit next to a window so it's very bright and I can see the trees and flowers outside (when I'm not staring at snow).
I love the whole feel of it. (Maybe that's why I love coffee shop aus so much, lol!)
