supergirl and sadness, an afterthought

Does anybody ever think about the fact that when Kara looks up at the stars she can still find Krypton?
She can calculate the distance in her head, thinks of space in lightyears, and still she can find Krypton in the stars unerringly. Krypton will be amongst the stars over Earth for decades after it’s destruction.
Do you ever think that Kara did the math? She knows the date of Kryptons destruction to the nanosecond. She was there, witnessing, unable to do anything. Somethings can’t be forgotten. The equation isn’t that hard, not for a girl raised in the future, not when she knows exactly how far she’s traveled. Solve for x, when x is the exact time Krypton will vanish over Earth, to the nanosecond.
She lost so much in the Phantom Zone, and this is one more thing, the two decades of time when she can still imagine her planet whole, can still see it with her own two eyes.
Do you ever think about how she thinks about time counting down in the back of her mind, how it’s running away from her?
