So I’m actually writing the thing instead of leaving it a sketchy outline but here have some more sketchy outlines to fill the void until i get it done.

So whats going on with the characters that aren’t Clarke? Cause the original was pretty heavy on her.

Atom lives in this world but he and Octavia are thoroughly done because who wants to get with somebody who’s afraid of their older brother. Which is good cause Bellamy’s decided Clarke needs a guard and who better than someone who been saved by her. Bellamy and Octavia’s relationship doesn’t fracture over Atom but she’s still horrified by the fact she shot Councillor Jaha, she still runs away, but as a wolf this time not a human.

She stumbles on the edge of that hill and rolls it and she’s hasn’t got her powers under control so she shifts back in the shock and smacks her head on a rock. When the grounder finds her she’s too disoriented to defend herself and when she wakes in the cave it’s with chains on her arms and legs. Octavia’s reckless not stupid so she waits until the grounder comes back, and gets close enough to lunge. She’s shifts goes for his throat, knocks him unconscious but the chains are still holding her. And it’s probably a good thing her brother is a stupidly overprotective ass.

(Lincoln and Octavia’s first real conversation, after she frees him and she follows white flowers to meet him, starts with you turn into a wolf? Only sometimes)

Finn’s got a skill they can actually use which means he’s assigned to the hunting party every time they go out and when Trina and Pascal go missing he’s the one who brings home the bodies.

He can’t lose a trail once he’s caught it, sees them a physical color track in the air leading him to the source. (Clarke’s trail is same color as her eyes, he uses it to find her every time he wants to see something good, something clean because Earth is anything but those things.)

Abby Griffin finds Raven Reyes in a closet and she’s already got a plan. There’s three leftover doses of the serum, and there should be four. Which she brought up to Kane a week ago and then promptly forgot about. (When they figure out Shumway’s role in the attempted assassination of Jaha they kick themselves for dismissing it.)

Abby’s read all the theories on the serum, the trials, the clinical observations. She knows how it works giving you power based on who you are and what you want so it’s not that long a gamble to give a dose to Raven- the youngest zero-g mechanic in 52 years, fiercely independent, and wanting to go to earth the shot. When it kicks it every machine around them goes mad, and she thinks she’s made a terrible mistake.

Raven masters her powers as quickly as she’s done everything her whole life. The pod is a part of her so there’s no moment of please don’t let me die. No machine would let her be harmed.

They still have to find the radio and she can’t fix it until it dries and Roma’s dead so she can’t pull the water out of it so the flares go up and come down but they don’t think anything of that until the Bridge and Anya tells Clarke they burnt down a village.

When Monty is saying he’d like to give the whole Earth a hug he’s cocooning himself in plants growing up around him. Connor says he wants to be the most beautiful broom and Raven’s really glad that he can only transform other things not himself.

When she and Finn get everyone to their tents the carnage looks something like this- a half dozen burnt down tents from when Monroe decided she wanted to a dragon and breathed fire. A dozen brooms from Connor, a section of wall have been covered with flowers, another warped by a kid with super strength pounding on it. Vines run riot over the whole camp, and there are dozens of potholes from Jasper trying to blow up the grounders he was seeing be someone gave him the anti-grounder stick (Raven could definitely kiss whoever came up with that)

There are still bullets floating in the air from the kid who screamed BE FREE MY BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES and tossed them up and she’s curious about how long they’ll stay up there FOR SCIENCE of course.

Dax had superspeed which is not as useful as you might think. The grounds too rough for much and eating shit at 70mph is incredibly painful never mind the first time he runs head first into a tree that had blurred like the rest of world. Clarke had to heal him about 6 times before he got his powers under control and figured out how to slow it down to just above human speed. He mostly uses it around camp once he’s memorized the layout and stops running over peoples tents. He uses it to take on Bellamy, sucker punching him at about 40 mph and he goes flying but once Bellamy figures it out he matches him faster and faster and Dax has completely underestimated Bellamy’s powers.

The fight falls back to human speed when they stumble on to each other and Clarke Griffin points a gun at them and he speeds to her and snaps the gun away and she stumbles back and if he hit her at this speed she’d die. The bullet catches him before he has the chance.

(So it turns out Bellamy is basically superman without the kryptonite.)
